Frank Harrison—beloved figure in the Orange County punk rock scene, widely known as "Big Frank"—has sadly passed away, leaving his family, friends, and community deeply saddened by his unexpected departure.

Big Frank Harrison, a man of many talents and roles, was known for his contributions as the store manager of Zed Records, a legendary hub for music lovers in the region. Frank also had a lengthy career as a professional tattoo artist, spanning over 30 years, and was a dedicated stage manager for Goldenvoice, among other roles. His passion for music saw him as a bassist for Carry Nation and Ear2Ear, and he also founded Nemesis Records. Beyond his music career, Frank was an Aikido blackbelt, Reiki Master, former skateboarder, and a lover of animals, the ocean, and surfing.

Frank’s passing has left his family facing significant challenges, particularly his daughter, Bella, who needs assistance with travel and managing the legal and personal affairs left behind. A GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Cara Delarosa-Harrison to help cover these costs, as well as those related to Frank’s cremation and memorial services. Additional funds will be set aside for Bella’s future, a gesture Frank would have wanted to ensure her stability during this difficult time.
