Fred’s family now faces the heartbreaking task of saying goodbye to their beloved son, while also navigating the overwhelming financial burden of funeral expenses. A fundraiser has been set up by Lydia Oyunge, a close individual, to help cover the costs of laying Fred to rest. As of now, £75 has been raised, with generous contributions from supporters such as Jay Russell, Anonymous donors, and others. The body will be moved from the mortuary on Monday, 16th December 2024, to Fred’s home in Riokindo, Kisii County. His final send-off will take place on Tuesday, 17th December 2024.
Numerous heartfelt messages have poured in from the community. Spøiller Khid shared a tribute with gratitude, while Nehemiah Elvahniko prayed for Fred’s soul to rest in peace. Kevin Ombaba and Mwalimu Wilfred Andrew Machini expressed their deepest condolences, while Hezy Omweno mourned the loss, saying, "Rest in peace Freddy, we will miss you brother."
