Gabriel Trejo, Phoenix, AZ—The community is in deep sorrow following the tragic passing of Gabriel Trejo. Gabriel was a cherished son, brother, and father, known for his resilient spirit despite enduring numerous health challenges throughout his life. He was the youngest of three boys and the fourth of five children in his family.
Gabriel’s health struggles began at a young age, frequently battling pneumonia and managing asthma. Despite these early challenges, he spent many years without hospital visits. In late 2021, Gabriel faced severe health issues, including a large blood clot blocking his nasal passage, COVID-19, high blood pressure, double kidney failure, and hepatitis C from injecting drugs. These conditions required him to undergo dialysis three times a week, leaving him often weak and ill.
Tragically, Gabriel’s life was cut short, leaving behind a grieving family. His sister, Crystal Trejo, has organized a fundraiser to cover his funeral and cremation expenses. Gabriel’s passing has deeply affected his family, especially after already losing their sister Katrina to cervical cancer on Valentine’s Day in 2022. Crystal remembers Gabriel as a kind-hearted person who respected everyone around him.
Gabriel leaves behind a son, a mother, a sister, two brothers, and over twenty nieces and nephews. The community is invited to support the family during this difficult time by contributing to the fundraiser, which aims to raise $2,000 for his cremation and other necessary services.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Gabriel Trejo’s family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this challenging period.
