Guadalupe R, Oklahoma City, OK— Guadalupe R, a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away after a long battle with health complications. She was only 30 years old.
Guadalupe was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease at the young age of 8, which led to a life of constant medical challenges. She began dialysis at just 14, and in 2018, she received a kidney transplant, though it was soon rejected, and she had to return to dialysis. Her health continued to decline over the years, and in January 2019, she suffered a cardiac arrest, falling into a coma. After a month in the hospital and rehabilitation, she returned home, but her condition worsened, leading to a second cardiac arrest in November 2024. Guadalupe was left in a vegetative state and passed away shortly after.
The Rodriguez family has set up a fundraiser to help with funeral expenses. The goal of $3,500 has been established to assist with the costs during this incredibly difficult time.
The community has shown their support through donations and messages of sympathy. Anayi Velasco, who is organizing the fundraiser, has expressed deep gratitude for the help that has come in during this heartbreaking period. The family is deeply affected by Guadalupe’s passing, and they appreciate the love and prayers from those around them.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rodriguez family as they navigate this tragic loss.
