His five grandchildren—Alayziah (21), Celeste (16), Jared (16), Arianna (9), and Sebastian (8)—were a constant source of joy in his life.
Born in El Rosario, Michoacán, Mexico, Guadencio grew up in a large family with 12 siblings. In 1974, he moved to the United States, where he worked tirelessly to support his loved ones back in Mexico. As a Maintenance Specialist at Gilly’s in Pasadena, TX, Guadencio was known for his dedication and hard work, often spending long hours at the venue made famous by the film "Urban Cowboy."
Despite his long battle with rheumatoid arthritis, seizures, and multiple strokes, Guadencio remained a compassionate and loving man. His family fondly remembers his love for dancing, laughter, and enjoying simple pleasures like watching Tom & Jerry while eating Mexican sweet bread.
A fundraiser has been organized by Mandy Gosch on behalf of his daughter, Adelina Palacios, to help cover the costs of Guadencio’s funeral and the remaining balance on the burial plot.
