Gus Bomgardner, Lebanon, PA — The Lebanon community is mourning the devastating loss of little Gus Bomgardner, who passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Gus was just 6 years old. Diagnosed with ATRT cancer in 2020 at the age of 2, Gus bravely endured numerous surgeries, extensive chemotherapy, radiation treatments, and various therapies. His family was hopeful as he was on the road to recovery. However, an inoperable tumor was discovered last week, which tragically took Gus’s life very suddenly.
Gus’s parents, including his mother Greta Bomgardner, are deeply affected by this sudden and heartbreaking loss. To support the family during this difficult time, Janet Rudd has organized a fundraiser to help cover the funeral expenses and other financial needs. So far, $285 has been raised out of the $8,000 goal, with contributions from six generous donors, including Matthew Rhine, John Guidotti, and Logan Gagliardi.
