Born on January 18, 1926, Harold’s commitment to education and service spanned decades. After graduating from Niles High School in 1944, he went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Bethel College in 1971 and a master’s degree from Indiana University in 1977. Harold’s time in education left an indelible mark on all who knew him, and his legacy lives on through the many students he guided over the years.
Beyond his work in education, Harold was an active member of his community. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1944 to 1947 and participated in various local organizations.
