Herman is survived by his loving wife, Teresita Sampana Monton, and their children Alvin, Terence, Anna, and Jeremy Sampana Monton. His cherished granddaughter, Jadelyn Teanna Monton, also mourns his loss. The family is gathering strength from one another during this difficult time, remembering the love and dedication Herman brought into their lives.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home in Gurnee, IL. The following day, Monday, August 19, 2024, visitation will continue from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Dismas Catholic Church in Waukegan, IL, with the funeral service to follow. Inurnment is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Ft. Sheridan National Cemetery in Highland Park, IL.
