James Mubiru, Ghana— James Mubiru tragically passed away recently after being hospitalized in Ghana due to a severe headache. Upon arrival at the hospital, he sadly passed away, leaving his family devastated by his sudden loss. His son, Paul Senfuma, is now organizing a fundraiser to assist with repatriating his father’s body back to Uganda, where he will be laid to rest.
The Mubiru family hopes to bring James home so his loved ones can visit his grave and pay their respects. However, with Paul and his siblings being students, they are unable to raise the necessary funds on their own. The funds raised will go toward repatriation costs, including transportation and necessary permits, to ensure James receives a dignified burial in Uganda.
So far, £143 has been raised through the generosity of 14 donors. The top donation of £20 came from Kaydon Solomon, while several others have also contributed, including an anonymous donor.
The family has expressed deep gratitude for any support, and every contribution, no matter how small, will help bring James home and offer comfort to his grieving family during this difficult time. Further funeral details will be shared as they become available.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mubiru family as they navigate this immense loss.
