James William Barton, Withamsville, OH—James William Barton passed away on Veterans Day, November 11, 2024, at the age of 71. A proud veteran of the United States Army, James dedicated his life to serving his country and supporting his family.
Recently, James had been facing significant health challenges. After undergoing heart tests, he was informed that he required a quadruple bypass surgery. On October 30, he bravely entered surgery, but the doctors discovered the need for a more complex quintuple bypass. Though the surgery was initially successful, James’s recovery was difficult, leading to his placement in a rehabilitation facility on November 3.
Tragically, on the morning of November 11, James was found unresponsive in the rehabilitation center. Despite the efforts of the medical team, he passed away at 2:10 AM, leaving behind his devoted wife, Debbie Barton, his daughter, Jami Barton, and his two grandchildren, Emma and Jase.
James was the primary provider for his family, and with his passing, his loved ones are now facing significant financial challenges. A fundraiser has been set up by Brian Greene to help cover final expenses and support Debbie in maintaining a stable living situation during this difficult time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Barton family as they navigate through this heartbreaking loss.
