Jamie Brook Strait, Red Oak, IA— Jamie Brook Strait, age 40, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. A beloved resident of Red Oak, Jamie was known for her artistic talents, caring nature, and love for the outdoors. She dedicated much of her time to working at Subway, providing cleaning services, and caring for children.
In her memory, a fundraiser has been organized by Morgan Franks to cover funeral costs and support her daughter, Kayli Jones. So far, $245 has been raised towards the $5,000 goal. The community has shown tremendous support with heartfelt messages. Megan Davidson expressed, “So many prayers for her family and entire group of friends.” Carol A Gates-Miller commented, “Praying for all Jamie’s Family and friends,” while Margaret Thomas shared, “Pray for all family and friends to find God’s peace and comfort through this very emotional time.”
Jamie is survived by her daughter Kayli, parents John and Susan Strait, brother Nick Strait, and other close family members. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel.
