Jared, a 24-year-old graduate of Penn State University, was known for his intelligence, humor, and deep love for history and sports. His untimely passing has left a profound impact on those who knew and loved him.
Born on July 31, 2000, in Beaver, Jared was the beloved son of Mark and Erin Krut. He graduated Cum Laude from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and was employed as an Associate Contract Professional at Bechtel Plant Machinery Incorporated. Jared’s quick wit, love for family game nights, and passion for Penn State and Steelers football made him a cherished member of his family and community.
Jared enjoyed simple pleasures like a good cup of coffee, a glass of fine Scotch, and his mom’s homemade lady locks. He was a talented runner and a devoted fan of sitcoms, ping pong, and board games. His summers spent at the Isle of Palms in South Carolina with his cousins created memories that will be treasured forever. Jared’s gregarious and fun-loving nature will be deeply missed by his parents, Mark and Erin, his brothers Jordan and Evan, and his many relatives, including his grandmother Elise Krut, and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family pup, Aubs, will also miss his presence dearly.
Jared was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wilfrid Krut, and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Lee Davis. The legacy of love and laughter he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
