Jason C. Jaegers, Loose Creek, MO—The community of Loose Creek is in mourning following the recent passing of Jason C. Jaegers. Jason, a cherished husband, father, and son, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, in Bixby, Missouri. He was 46 years old.
Born on November 13, 1977, in Jefferson City to Jerry and Diane Jaegers, Jason attended Immaculate Conception Catholic School and graduated from Fatima High School in 1995. He was married to Julie Gorman on September 15, 1999, in Rolla, and together they built a loving family over their 24 years of marriage.
Jason worked as a truck driver for Environmental Services of Centertown. He was a dedicated member of St. George Catholic Church and had a passion for hunting, cooking, grilling, and spending time with his family. His love for pickup trucks and big rig semi-trucks was well known among friends and family.
In addition to his parents and his wife Julie, Jason is survived by his five children: Dylan Jaegers of Linn, Peyton Jaegers of Jefferson City, and Sterling, Mia, and Emma Jaegers of the home. He also leaves behind two brothers, Justin Jaegers (and wife Amelia) of Linn and Kaleb Jaegers of Russellville; a sister, Jeriane Jaegers-Brenneke (and husband Adam) of Jefferson City; his mother-in-law, Diane Gorman of Licking; a brother-in-law, Danny Gorman of Rolla; and three grandchildren, Bryer, Remington, and Colt Jaegers. Jason’s extended family includes several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Jason was preceded in death by two angel babies, his maternal grandparents Charles and Leona Eichholz, his paternal grandparents Jerome and Teresa Jaegers, and his father-in-law Sammy Gorman.
A visitation for Jason will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Morton Chapel in Linn, followed by funeral services at 4:00 p.m. with Fr. Anthony Rinaldo officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to support the Jaegers family.
Jason’s wife, Julie Jaegers, has organized a fundraiser to help with the family’s needs during this difficult time. The goal is set at $35,000, and donations can be made through their GoFundMe page.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Jaegers family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this challenging period.
