Despite these challenges, Jeff remained resilient, strong, and determined to make those around him smile.
Throughout his last months, Jeff was surrounded by his loved ones. He continued to bring joy and laughter to his family, nurses, and friends, even when speaking became difficult. His final moments were filled with a sense of peace as he expressed excitement about being reunited with his wife, whom he had not seen in twelve years. His last words were a testament to his spirit: he mentioned needing to "get all dressed up because he had somewhere to be" before asking his daughter, Jill, to go home and rest.
