Known as "Blake" by family and friends, he left behind a community deeply impacted by his departure. Born on July 1, 1988, Blake was a dedicated father to Kenley Moorehead of Senatobia, MS, and is remembered for his love of the outdoors, his joyful spirit, and his ability to bring laughter to those around him.
Blake is survived by his father, Jeffrey Moorehead of Paris, MS; daughter, Kenley; two brothers, Tyler Hardin of Oxford and Dayton Moorehead of Paris; and three sisters, Alicia (Maghen) Franklin of Pope, MS, Marlee (Woody) Franklin of Calhoun City, MS, and Delaney Moorehead of Paris. His extended family includes his grandmother, Myrtle “Earlene” Brewer of Batesville, MS, and grandparents Kenneth and Marion Cifreo of New Roads, Louisiana. He is also survived by his stepmothers, Beverly Moorehead of Oxford and Michelle Lambert of Senatobia, and several nieces and nephews.
Blake’s passing has brought an outpouring of memories and condolences from friends and community members. Kim Tubbs Baird shared, “We are going to miss you Blake Moorehead around Grantham. Gone too soon.” Sherene Moore expressed simply, “RIP Blake,” while Sheri Crews Arbuckle wrote, “He sure will be missed!!! I have you Al.
