Jeffrey Miner, Laporte, MN—It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jeffrey Miner. After a brief battle with severe health complications, Jeffrey passed away peacefully this morning at 6:10 a.m., with his wife, Wende, by his side. His passing comes after a sudden and critical illness that saw him airlifted to Fargo for emergency care.
Wende shared that despite the overwhelming circumstances, Jeffrey appeared to be at peace, knowing she was there with him in his final moments. His condition, which included septic shock and pneumonia, had caused multiple organ failure, and despite doctors’ efforts, Jeffrey’s body could no longer recover.
A fundraiser has been set up by Kimberly Stuber to assist Wende with the unexpected costs of the memorial and to help ease the financial burden during this difficult time. As of now, $200 has been raised towards the $15,000 goal, thanks to two anonymous donors.
The community is asked to continue offering prayers and support to Wende as she navigates through her grief. For those able to contribute, donations can be made to the "Jeffrey Miner Memorial Fund," which aims to cover expenses related to his memorial service and provide Wende with much-needed financial relief.
