Jeffrey Teague, lovingly known as Jeff, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 20, 2024, following a massive heart attack. He was a devoted husband to Melissa Abron, a caring father, and a cherished grandfather to two grandchildren, with twin grandchildren on the way. His sudden passing has left his family and friends in deep sorrow.
Jeff was a longtime member of the Cowan Street Baptist Church in Nashville, TN, where he was known for his strong faith and commitment to his church family. Despite enduring over 10 years of dialysis and ongoing health challenges, Jeff never wavered in his belief in Christ. His positive spirit and resilience touched everyone who knew him.
Known for his love of cooking and his lifelong enthusiasm for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jeff was a man who treasured spending time with family. His dedication to those he loved, along with his faith, was a cornerstone of his life.
A fundraiser has been organized by Heather Green, on behalf of Melissa Abron, to help cover the costs of Jeff’s cremation and memorial service. With the financial burdens that have come following his passing, the family is seeking assistance to honor Jeff’s memory. So far, generous donations have been made by friends and family, with contributions from Matthew Hutfles, Kenneth W. Dozier, James Berkowicz, Heather Heather, and Courtney Beck.
The family remains grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
We extend our deepest condolences to Melissa Abron and her family. May Jeff’s soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength in the love and memories they shared with him.
