Jenifer Nisha Bowas, Bay Area— It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Jenifer Nisha Bowas, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Jenifer passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning, December 8, 2024, leaving behind her two young children, Annshea (9 years old) and Alfrid (4 years old), as well as her grieving husband, Bowas Balasingh.
Known for her kindness, grace, and vibrant smile, Jenifer was deeply involved in her community, particularly in Indian cultural events in the Bay Area. Her passion for helping others and her dream of seeing her children thrive are memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Jenifer’s untimely passing occurred while her husband was away in India, due to travel for visa-related matters. In an unimaginable turn of events, Jenifer’s children bravely called 911 for help, but despite all efforts, their mother could not be revived.
The family is now faced with the heartbreaking challenges of moving forward without Jenifer, and a fundraiser has been created to support them during this difficult time. The goal is to raise funds for the children’s education, repatriation of Jenifer’s remains to India, and immediate relief for her husband, who now faces the daunting responsibility of raising two young children alone.
We extend our deepest condolences to the family and the community. May Jenifer’s legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire those who knew her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bowas Balasingh and their children, Annshea and Alfrid, as they navigate this tragic loss.
