Jeriline "Jerry" Brady Mcginnis, Boston, MA— Jeriline "Jerry" Brady Mcginnis passed away unexpectedly on November 18, 2024, leaving her family and friends in deep sorrow. Jerry, 73, was known for her vibrant energy, her unwavering love for animals, and her dedication to those around her.
A longtime resident of Boston, Jerry was a loving mother to Donald, Ronald, and Chris Brady. She devoted much of her life to caring for her animals and had an especially close bond with her dog, Duce. Tragically, Duce unexpectedly attacked Jerry’s husband, and in an effort to help, Jerry was injured. She was rushed to the hospital where, despite heroic efforts and multiple resuscitations, she passed away during emergency surgery.
Her family has set up a GoFundMe page to assist with funeral expenses, as Jerry did not have end-of-life coverage. Donations will be used for cremation, visitation services, and travel costs for her children, Donald and Ronald, who will need to travel from Minnesota to Boston to handle funeral arrangements and attend the service. Additionally, any remaining funds will be donated to animal-related charities, as Jerry had a profound love for animals.
The community has shown its support with numerous donations and heartfelt messages. Among those who have contributed are Roxanne Hoke Chandler, Raymond Hanson, Lisa Casci, and Kallyn Constantineau.
We extend our deepest condolences to Jerry’s family during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
