He was immediately taken to the hospital but, after five days, was taken off life support, having never regained consciousness.

Jerry’s passing has left a deep emotional void for his family, which includes his 12-year-old daughter, whom Niki homeschools. His full-time income was essential in covering their mortgage, bills, insurance, and other family expenses. Without his support, Niki now faces an overwhelming financial challenge. The family’s savings are depleted, and they are left without insurance on their $250,000 mortgage, making it difficult to maintain the home they recently completed extensive renovations on.
