Diagnosed with the rare disease Neurofibromatosis at birth, Jessica endured countless surgeries and hospital stays. Despite these struggles, she found joy in life and became a proud mother to her son, a miracle she once thought impossible.
Earlier this year, Jessica’s health began to rapidly decline. In August, she was admitted to the hospital, and by September, she received the devastating news that she had stage 4 lung cancer. Doctors informed her that the cancer was terminal, and she was sent home on hospice care.
Jessica expressed her desire to spend more time with her family and to witness her son grow up, but she also came to terms with the reality of her condition. A fundraiser has been organized by Elvira Ovalle to support Jessica’s last wish, aiming to ease the financial burden on her loved ones during this difficult time.
Her strength, hope, and faith inspired many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
