Joelando P. Mora, Guam— It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joelando P. Mora, who passed away on December 29, 2024. Joelando, born on September 9, 1993, was a dedicated family man, remembered for his selflessness, strength, and unwavering love for his wife and children. He leaves behind a wife and eight children who will cherish his memory forever.
A hard-working individual, Joelando’s compassion extended far beyond his immediate family. His actions during Typhoon Mawar, where he risked his own safety to protect his loved ones and help others, reflect the deep care he had for his community. He was known for his loyalty and kindness, earning the affection of many who called him a devoted husband, father, and friend.
A fundraiser has been set up by Trini-Francine Materne to support the Mora family during this difficult time. As of now, $900 has been raised to help with funeral expenses, with donations pouring in from the community, including contributions from Kay Pocaigue, Leanna Querry, and Ronald Taitano. The Mora family is deeply grateful for the kindness shown.
The burial will take place on Guam, the island that Joelando called home. His family has expressed their gratitude for the support they have received and prayed that Joelando finds eternal peace.
May Joelando P. Mora rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children, and all those who loved him during this sorrowful time.
