Jonn’s passing follows that of his beloved wife, Steffany, who had bravely fought cancer for nine years. Their passing marks the end of a love story that spanned almost 52 years, a journey filled with resilience and unwavering companionship.
Jonn and Steffany’s love was a testament to enduring commitment, having met through a mutual friend and falling in love at first sight. Despite Jonn’s life-changing accident that confined him to a wheelchair for 45 years, their bond remained strong, leading them through many life adventures, including a move to Texas where they planned to spend their remaining days together.
The couple leaves behind a legacy of love and family, survived by their daughter Machel, granddaughter Randie, and two great-granddaughters Rae and Charlett. As Jonn and Steffany wished, they will be laid to rest in California, alongside their other family members.
A fundraiser has been organized by Randie Baldwin to help cover the unexpected costs associated with their final journey home. Although Jonn and Steffany had made some arrangements and secured life insurance, the policies have since expired, leaving the family with additional expenses from the mortuaries in Texas and California.
