Joshua Robles, Rialto, CA— Joshua Robles passed away recently, leaving his family and the community in mourning. He was a devoted husband, friend, and stepfather, who was taken from us far too soon.
Joshua’s struggles began in May, when he was diagnosed with a hernia from his work. After undergoing surgery in July, it was initially thought to be successful. However, a few weeks later, Joshua fell ill and was hospitalized. Doctors discovered a complication—an injury to his intestine from the surgery. For months, Joshua endured severe stomach pain and significant weight loss, losing over 60 pounds. Despite this, he began to improve and had a joyful Thanksgiving with his family.
Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse last Thursday night, as Joshua experienced severe stomach pain. He was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery the following morning. Despite his efforts to fight, Joshua became septic, and his condition worsened. After battling for a full 24 hours, Joshua passed away on Sunday morning when his heart stopped.
While Joshua is no longer in pain, his family, especially his mother, is devastated by the loss. A fundraiser has been organized by Jessica Vasquez to help with funeral expenses and to support his family during this difficult time.
The community has shown their support through kind donations, with a total of $920 raised so far, including significant contributions from Manny Gee and Sierra Cheshewalla. The outpouring of love and sympathy from friends and family serves as a testament to the impact Joshua had on those around him.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Robles family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this incredibly difficult time.
