Kaleb Noland, Dothan, AL—The community is mourning the tragic loss of Kaleb Noland, who was killed in a vehicle accident on Monday night. He was just 20 years old and had spent his entire school career at Emmanuel.
Kaleb’s sudden and untimely death has left his family, especially his mother, deeply shaken. Kaleb’s mother, a beloved member of the ministry at Clay’s school, is known for her warm and welcoming demeanor. The community is rallying to support her and the family during this difficult time.
Amie Gendreau Tolar, sharing her condolences on Facebook, expressed the community’s grief: "Please pray for the family of Kaleb Noland. His mama is an important part of the ministry at Clay’s school and it is always a joy to see her smiling face. I can’t imagine what she and her family are going through."
Another community member, Brenda Franklin Pellerin, empathized with the family, recalling her own loss: "Amie I hate this. We lost our son 8 years ago; he was 15." Many others, including Allyson Johnson, April Norris, Linda Toole, Tammy Swords, Janet Cumbaa Taylor, Cindy Grider, and Pam Hughes Holland, also shared their prayers and heartfelt messages of support.
In an effort to help with the unexpected expenses, Michelle McDaniel, Head of School, has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser. As of today, $1,975 has been raised out of the $10,000 goal, with contributions from 18 donors. Notable donations include $500 from Danny and Chasity Odom, $100 from Seth Bergman, and a recent $50 donation from Debra Moore.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Noland family. May the love and support of friends and the community bring them comfort during this difficult time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Kaleb. May you rest in peace.
