Karen Walker Harvey, Buffalo, NY—Karen Walker Harvey has passed away after a prolonged battle with serious health issues. Over the past two years, Karen faced a difficult journey, starting with a stroke that uncovered multiple severe health conditions. She was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease, for which she had been undergoing dialysis, and more recently, she discovered she had colon and liver cancer.
Despite the challenging nature of her treatments, which included chemotherapy, Karen remained a source of strength for her loved ones. Sadly, her health struggles grew increasingly difficult, with several hospital stays due to complications from her treatments.
In response to the financial burden her family faces, a fundraiser was launched by Angele Harvey to help cover the costs of Karen’s funeral and memorial services. The fundraiser, titled "Support Karen Walker-Harvey’s Final Journey," has so far raised $295 through generous donations from the community, including contributions from Grace Klinger, Denise Ruh, and Sarah MacRae.
Lynn Maines shared on Facebook, “Karen Walker-Harvey you are an amazing woman. You are so loved and appreciated by so many. I will do everything I can to help.”
The community continues to express their gratitude for Karen’s kindness and selflessness, with many offering heartfelt condolences. Karen’s legacy of helping others will remain in the hearts of those she touched.
Our deepest sympathies go out to her family during this difficult time. May Karen rest in peace, and may her loved ones find comfort in the support surrounding them.
Prayer for Karen and Family: May Karen’s soul rest in peace, and may her family be blessed with strength and comfort in their time of grief.
