Kathy Leau, Oxnard, CA—The community of Oxnard is mourning the loss of Kathy Leau, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away on Wednesday, September 18th. Kathy’s loved ones describe her as a fighter, someone who faced her lifelong health challenges with incredible resilience. Kailani Maifea, Kathy’s niece, has started a fundraiser to help the family give Kathy the loving farewell she deserves. The goal is to raise $6,500 to cover funeral expenses and other related costs. So far, $240 has been raised from three generous donations, including contributions from Clarence Maifea and Posiulai House.
