Kathy Lee Glowczwski, St. Peters, MO— Kathy Lee Glowczwski passed away unexpectedly on November 6, 2024, leaving a profound void in the lives of her family and community. She was born on June 19, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, and spent her life in St. Louis and St. Charles counties, as well as Piedmont, MO. Kathy dedicated her life to others, both as a compassionate nurse and a talented photographer who captured the world’s beauty through her lens.
Kathy leaves behind her brother Matthew Mohon, her three children Jill Glowczwski-Burch, Julie Glowczwski-Knickmeyer (Daniel), and Nathaniel "Bud" Glowczwski, along with six beloved grandchildren: Alex Reynolds, Blake and Madison Burch, Zac and Hayden Schenk, and Jordan Glowczwski. She is preceded in death by her father, Ray "Bud" Thomas Mohon, mother, Nina Marie Mohon, and sister, Diana Lynn Clubb.
Her untimely passing has left her family in financial difficulty, as her life insurance policy was recently taken out and will not cover the funeral costs. In response, her son Nathaniel Glowczwski has organized a fundraiser to help cover the final expenses. The fundraiser aims to raise $10,000 to support the funeral arrangements, and donations are being accepted through GoFundMe and directly via Newcomers Funeral Home in St. Peters, MO.
Kathy will be remembered by the many people whose lives she touched, and her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her family has scheduled visitation services at Newcomers Funeral Home at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO, on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM for the funeral service.
Our hearts go out to the Glowczwski family during this difficult time. We extend our deepest sympathies to them, and our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this painful loss.
