Keith Stoflet, Slinger, WI—The community mourns the recent passing of Keith Stoflet, a beloved father, husband, and grandfather. Keith passed away on Monday, October 14th, 2024, after bravely battling bipolar 1 disorder for over a decade. His family and friends are coming together to honor his memory and support one another during this deeply difficult time.
Keith is remembered for his resilience and strength in the face of his struggles. He leaves behind his wife, Lisa Stoflet; his children, Kyle and Kayla Stoflet; and his cherished granddaughters, Mila and Emmeline. Keith’s battle with his condition, which affected him for over eight years, significantly impacted his ability to work, depleting his retirement savings and leaving his family in a challenging financial situation.
Kyle Stoflet has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser titled "Keith Stoflet Memorial: Honoring His Life and Bipolar Battle" to help cover the costs of Keith’s funeral and provide support to the family. Due to the uncertain coverage of Keith’s life insurance policy, the family is seeking assistance to cope with the financial strain caused by his passing.
The fundraiser has received generous contributions, including $500 from Rebecca Schwertfeger, $100 from Cindy Wright, and $420 from an anonymous donor. These donations, along with heartfelt messages, show the outpouring of love and support from the community.
Dale Schwertfeger, in a touching Facebook post, expressed his gratitude for those supporting the family, saying, "My family has organized a GoFundMe to help raise funds for my brother-in-law Keith’s funeral. Please read his story and consider contributing to help pay for his funeral costs. Thank you for considering & sharing." Kyle Stoflet responded, thanking Dale and his wife Beckey Lynn for their donation, stating, "Thank you very much for sharing this, Uncle Dale! Thank you to you & Beckey Lynn for your donation as well! Love you both!"
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Keith on Saturday, November 16th at Glacier Hills Hall & Chapel in Hubertus, WI, with visitation starting at 12 PM and a memorial service at 2 PM. Food and refreshments will be provided following the service to allow family and friends to gather and remember Keith.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Stoflet family during this time of loss. May Keith’s memory live on through the love of his family and friends, and may they find strength and comfort in one another.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stoflet family as they navigate this painful time. May Keith rest in peace, and may his loved ones find solace in the legacy he leaves behind.
