Kenneth Burrell, Baton Rouge, LA—The Baton Rouge community is coming together to support the funeral services of Kenneth Burrell, a 15-year-old whose life was tragically cut short. His aunt, Antionette Lanieux, who has been caring for Kenneth since his mother Lakeisha Lanieux passed away in 2022, is leading a fundraiser to help cover the costs of his burial.
The family has been struggling to gather enough funds to provide Kenneth with a proper farewell. The funeral, to be officiated by Miller and Daughter Funeral Home, has been scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2024, though it may be postponed until October 12, depending on the funds raised. The funeral costs total $4,900, of which $2,200 has been secured. Antionette, a single mother, is organizing a dinner in hopes of raising the remaining amount.
As of now, Elaine Williams and an anonymous donor have each contributed $20. Antionette encourages the community to send any donations directly to Miller and Daughter Funeral Home in Zachary, Louisiana, in Kenneth Burrell’s name.
Kenneth’s family and friends are deeply mourning his passing, and their efforts to give him a dignified service reflect their love and dedication to his memory.
We extend our heartfelt prayers to Kenneth Burrell’s family during this difficult time.
