Kenwan Kj Jm Kilgore, Quincy, FL— The Quincy community is mourning the tragic passing of 20-year-old Kenwan "KJ" Kilgore. KJ, who had recently graduated from Gadsden County High School in 2023, was known for his vibrant personality, strong sense of duty, and commitment to his family and friends.

KJ had been working as an associate at Hibbett Sports after completing a brief stint at Florida State Hospital. He had aspirations to re-enlist in the army, a step he planned to take after further serving his community. Unfortunately, his life was cut short on November 29, 2024, under heartbreaking circumstances.

KJ was a loving uncle and a supportive brother. Described as the person you could rely on for a laugh, a hug, or simply a listening ear, he was the type of individual who would go out of his way to help others. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends, especially his father Dwan Kilgore, who has launched a fundraising campaign to help cover funeral and medical expenses.

The community has shown its support, with an early donation from Akena Kilgore, KJ’s family, to help with the funeral costs. The goal of the fundraiser is to ensure that KJ’s memory is honored with the respect he deserves.
