Kevin "Bubba" Malone, known for his warm spirit and unwavering dedication to family and community, has passed away. Bubba lost his life in the recent tragic D’Lo bridge collapse in Simpson County, MS, on October 16, 2024. His sudden passing has left a profound impact on his family, friends, and the Hattiesburg community, who cherished him deeply.

Bubba, a retired U.S. Army E8 after 27 years of dedicated service, worked hard to keep his family’s dream alive. Together with his wife, Bonnie McNair Malone, Bubba had opened The Dapper Wolf, a venture they built with love and effort. However, financial difficulties stemming from COVID-19 and local construction affected their business, prompting Bubba to come out of retirement to support his family. His friends and loved ones fondly remember Bubba’s commitment to his family and the sacrifices he made to keep their dreams intact.

A fundraiser has been established by Kimberly Craven to assist Bonnie during this challenging time, hoping to ease the financial burden as she navigates this unimaginable loss.
