Kirsten Bell, Scotland— Kirsten Bell, a brave woman who fought an inspiring battle with breast cancer, passed away recently. Her death has left a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the community.
Kirsten had already faced a monumental struggle, having been diagnosed with breast cancer two and a half years ago. With the unwavering support of her children, Zak and Lyla, and a close-knit circle of friends and family, she triumphed over the disease and celebrated ringing the bell in victory. However, in October 2024, Kirsten was dealt a cruel blow as secondary cancer was diagnosed, which ultimately led to her passing.
In her final years, Kirsten lived life to the fullest, cherishing every moment with those she loved. Despite the immense challenges she faced, her infectious spirit remained an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Kirsten’s passing has left her children, Zak (19) and Lyla (16), with the overwhelming responsibility of organizing her funeral, a task made even more difficult by the lack of life insurance or financial preparations. To support them during this difficult time, a fundraiser has been set up by Kelly Ann Hughes to help cover the funeral costs. As of now, £555 has been raised through generous donations from friends and family.
Among those showing support is Karen Cochrane McCarney, who shared and donated, as well as Patrick Walsh, who made the top donation of £200. Alana June Crichton has also shared information on funeral expenses support to ease the financial burden.
The loss of Kirsten leaves a deep sadness, but her legacy of strength, love, and resilience will be forever cherished. Her children and those close to her will remember her as the extraordinary woman she was.
Our heartfelt prayers are with Zak, Lyla, and all who loved Kirsten during this profoundly difficult time.
