Kori Lachelle Mary Rider, Nauvoo, AL Community Grieves the Loss of a Beloved Mother

Nauvoo, AL—Kori Lachelle Mary Rider, a cherished member of the community, has sadly passed away. She was 29 years old and a devoted mother to four young daughters: Harley Rider, Kerri Rider, Daisey Rider, and AnnaGrace Kimbrell. Kori was found deceased at her residence on September 23, 2024, only days before welcoming her youngest child, AnnaGrace, into the world.

Kori was known for her vibrant spirit and kind heart, always offering support and love to those around her. Breanna Kennedy, Kori’s stepdaughter, has organized a fundraiser to support the costs of her funeral and to assist in caring for her four children who now face an unimaginable loss.

Kori’s family is working tirelessly to ensure she receives the dignified burial she deserves and to provide for her daughters in this difficult time. Although a small insurance policy was in place, it is not sufficient to cover all the expenses, leaving the family in need of additional support. The fundraiser seeks to raise funds for funeral costs, the burial plot, and the casket, as well as to help with the future care of Kori’s daughters.

The viewing will be held at Collin’s-Burk Funeral Home in the coming days. Breanna and her family are encouraging those who cannot donate to simply offer a prayer or share the fundraiser to spread the word.
