Korina Gagne, Melbourne, FL— Korina Gagne has passed away after a brave battle with terminal cancer. She was recently diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer that had metastasized throughout her body. Despite receiving a prognosis of 1 to 6 months to live, Korina’s condition deteriorated rapidly, and it is expected that she will not be with us for much longer.
Korina was a cherished mother and grandmother, known for her infectious smile and joyful spirit. Her ability to lift up those around her, especially with her laughter and vibrant personality, made her a beloved figure in her community. Even in her final days, she remained surrounded by her family, including her daughter, and continued to find joy in the time they spent together.
A fundraiser has been set up by John Stone to assist with hospice and funeral expenses. As of now, $230 has been raised toward the goal, with donations coming from friends and family, including Barbara Wardwell, Linda Stone, Mark Stone, Cedrick Saint Jean, and John Stone himself. The funds will help cover the costs of her remaining days and ensure that her final wishes are fulfilled.
The community has been quick to express their sympathy and share messages of support. One of the many heartfelt comments shared on social media came from John Stone, who wrote: "Korina is a loving woman whose smile and laughter can lift every room she’s ever walked into."
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Korina Gagne, and our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this incredibly difficult time.
