St. Petersburg, FL—The community is heartbroken over the sudden passing of LaPrincee Reed, a woman known for her boundless love and selflessness. LaPrincee was unexpectedly taken from her family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will never be forgotten.
According to her family, LaPrincee was home on a Saturday morning watching her nephews when tragedy struck. After a loud noise was heard, she was found unconscious. Despite the quick response of paramedics, she was pronounced dead shortly after. Her passing has left her loved ones struggling to comprehend the suddenness of it all.
LaPrincee was a beacon of love in her community. Her warm hugs, infectious smile, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone she met. She was known for going out of her way to help others, often putting their needs before her own. Whether it was giving the shoes off her feet to a homeless person or simply being there when someone needed a friend, LaPrincee rarely said no to those in need.
Her sister, Rakiya Burton, shared a touching tribute on Facebook, saying, "My oldest sister, second mother, the one who was helping me raise all three of my children was elevated to another life… no longer physically living in the flesh. My sister was always my angel, but now she is really operating in that spirit as I can no longer physically touch, hug, call, or talk to her. She was everything to everybody, the most selfless person I’ve ever known. She loved unconditionally."
