Larry Bowlin, Morristown, TN— The community mourns the loss of Larry Bowlin, a dedicated Army veteran and beloved family man. Larry passed away peacefully in his sleep on the night of Saturday, October 12, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.
Larry served in the Army from 1974 to 1977 and spent over 31 years working at Mahle before retiring in 2010. He had always been in good health until March 2024, when he was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer. Since then, his health rapidly declined, requiring the use of a walker, and his daughter Lindsey Bowlin became his full-time caregiver. On his final day, Larry was not in pain, and Lindsey spent time comforting him, bringing him peace in his last moments.
Lindsey has organized a fundraiser to help cover her father’s final expenses, as Larry did not have life insurance, and Lindsey is currently unemployed. She is asking for any support, whether through donations or prayers, to help the family during this difficult time.
