Larry’s sister, Katrena Marshall, shared that his fight with cancer began back in 2016. He had been living with her for some time, and although the final months were filled with difficulty, Larry remained in high spirits until the end. In August 2024, doctors informed Larry that there were no further treatment options available, and he was given a prognosis of three to six months to live. Sadly, he passed just three months later.
In November, Larry was admitted to the hospital due to severe pain, but despite his condition, he maintained his sense of humor and even enjoyed his meals. Just hours after a visit from his family, Larry passed away unexpectedly.
Larry was known for his love of playing cribbage and his passion for supporting the Green Bay Packers. His family remembers him as a man with a bright spirit, even through his hardest times.
Katrena has set up a fundraiser to help cover cremation costs, with donations continuing to come in from friends and community members. The fundraiser aims to alleviate the financial burden during this difficult time, especially with the holidays approaching.
