Lee Alliston, Conyers, GA— Lee Alliston, a cherished husband and father, passed away on November 6, 2024, after a long and challenging battle with several health issues. His passing has deeply impacted his wife Leslie, their daughters Kylie and Shelly, and the many who knew him as a loyal friend, neighbor, and family member.
Lee’s health struggles began in 2016, with multiple strokes, atrial fibrillation (Afib), and open-heart surgery. Despite his resilience, he was left completely disabled and lost his ability to work, creating significant financial strain on his family. Tragically, Leslie was laid off in February 2024, causing them to lose their health and life insurance, compounding their hardships.
Lee’s family is now facing the emotional and financial burden of his loss. A fundraiser has been set up by Debra Thompson to assist Leslie with funeral expenses, medical bills, and the loss of income during this difficult time. To date, $200 has been raised, with donations coming from close friends and community members.
Lee’s memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Conyers First United Methodist Church, where friends and family will gather to honor his life and legacy. The visitation will take place from 1-2 PM, followed by the memorial service at 2 PM.
We extend our deepest condolences to Leslie, Kylie, Shelly, and all those who loved Lee. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Lee’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
