Leslie Whitworth—Leslie Whitworth’s passing has brought a wave of heartfelt condolences and support from the community, with efforts underway to honor his memory through a dedicated fundraiser. Organized by Michael Whitworth, the campaign aims to support Action Cerebral Palsy, a cause close to Leslie’s heart.
In Leslie’s memory, the fundraiser has thus far reached £155 out of a targeted £200, with contributions from five donors, including Allen Williamson and several anonymous supporters. This collective generosity reflects a significant 78% of the initial goal, underscoring the community’s commitment to both Leslie and the important cause he valued.
Leslie’s cremation service is scheduled for Friday, 1st November, at 3:00 p.m. at the Crematorium in Agecroft Cemetery. A collection box will also be available at the service for those wishing to contribute in person. All donations raised will go towards supporting Action Cerebral Palsy, which works to improve awareness and support for children and young people affected by cerebral palsy, along with their families.
We extend our thoughts and prayers to Leslie Whitworth’s family during this difficult time and express gratitude to everyone who has shown support for the Whitworth family and Action Cerebral Palsy.
