According to his daughter, Tiffany Christine, Lonnie experienced a severe heart attack on the evening of September 24. Although doctors were able to briefly revive him, Lonnie never regained consciousness and remained on life support until the heartbreaking decision was made to let him go.
The Bunch family was not prepared for this sudden and devastating loss. Tiffany has started a GoFundMe fundraiser in hopes of covering the costs for cremation, a memorial service, and additional fees associated with her father’s passing. In her heartfelt message, she explained that without sufficient funds, her father’s remains cannot be cremated or even picked up from the hospital.
Support has already begun to come in, with two early donations from Mark Byers and Robert M. Grugel, each contributing $50 to the fundraiser. However, much more is needed to reach the necessary goal to honor Lonnie’s memory.
