Lorraine Taylor, Bristol—Lorraine Taylor passed away recently, leaving her family and friends mourning the loss of a beloved mother and friend. Her passing has deeply affected those who knew her, especially her children, Sam and Sarah, who fondly remember her love and dedication.
In May, the Taylor family’s world was turned upside down when they learned that Lorraine had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Despite the diagnosis, Lorraine remained hopeful and wished to make the most of her time. One of her dreams was to visit Bell Alpaca Farm, a small, family-owned alpaca farm just outside of Bristol. Unfortunately, due to her health, Lorraine was unable to make the trip.
Lorraine’s love for alpacas began in 2021, sparked by the story of Geronimo, an alpaca involved in a bovine tuberculosis case. Lorraine was deeply moved by the story, frequently updating her family about it and supporting the cause by purchasing various merchandise, including jumpers, cups, and even a teddy bear. Her passion for these gentle animals was well-known among her family and friends.
In her memory, a fundraiser has been organized by Samm Bramley, aiming to support the Bell Alpaca Farm. As of now, £55 has been raised out of the £100 goal, with contributions from generous donors, including Chris Sparke, Joanne Jefferies, Samantha Bramley, and an anonymous donor. The funds raised will go towards the alpaca farm that Lorraine cared so much about, honoring her memory and her love for these animals.
Lorraine Taylor’s kindness, warmth, and passion for life will always be remembered. Her family and friends are encouraged to cherish the memories they shared with her and take comfort in the legacy she leaves behind.
We are deeply saddened to learn of Lorraine Taylor’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
