Malith Jayasara, San Antonio, TX—The community mourns the loss of Malith Jayasara, who passed away unexpectedly on August 9th due to an unforeseen heart infection. A devoted husband and father, Malith leaves behind his loving wife, Delicia, and their 8-year-old daughter, Jovelle.
Malith was known for his warmth, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family. Originally from Sri Lanka, he came to the United States in 2005 to pursue an education in Aviation. Over the years, he worked tirelessly as a franchisee for Seven-Eleven in San Antonio, ensuring his family was well-provided for. His passing has left his wife and daughter in deep shock as they face the challenges of life without him.
A fundraiser has been organized by Delicia Begay to help ease the financial burden of funeral expenses, medical bills, and the ongoing living and educational costs for their daughter. The community has already shown tremendous support, with $1,320 raised out of the $20,000 goal through the generosity of five donors, including Chaminda & Suwani Fernando, who contributed $1,000.
Malith’s memory will be cherished by all who knew him. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Delicia, Jovelle, and the entire Jayasara family during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
