Marc Robert LaFrenz, Coeur d’Alene, ID— With heavy hearts, the community mourns the passing of Marc Robert LaFrenz, who passed away on October 19, 2024, at Kootenai Medical Center. Born on February 7, 1953, and raised in Lewiston, Idaho, Marc was known for his quiet strength, generosity, and unwavering dedication to family and friends.
Throughout his life, Marc built a remarkable career in the pre-mix industry, working from the age of 16 until his retirement at 66. His career spanned across Lewiston Premix, Lake City Premix, and MJB Materials, where his hard work and commitment became a testament to the values he held dear—supporting those he loved and caring for his community.
Beyond his professional life, Marc found joy in nature, gardening, and BBQs, where he cherished the simple pleasures of life. A lifelong fan of the Washington State Cougars and the Gonzaga Bulldogs, Marc had a passion for cars, especially his prized Miata and Mustangs.
Marc’s bond with his wife, Pamela Joy LaFrenz, whom he married in 2008, was filled with love and mutual devotion. He also leaves behind his sister, Patt Rinard, and brother, Steve LaFrenz. He was predeceased by his brothers, Larry LaFrenz and Vern Ogden.
