Maria Olivia Rodriguez, Del Rio, TX— Maria Olivia Rodriguez passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the age of 80, surrounded by her family. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her loss leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who loved her.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Tapia Monita, and her parents Rodolfo and Cecilia Rodriguez. She was also preceded by her grandchild, Luis A. Peña. Maria leaves behind her children: Francisco (Claudia) Tapia, Cynthia Tapia Flores, and Elizabeth Martinez, as well as her grandchildren, including Brandon Tapia, Francisco Tapia Jr., Dante Tapia, Joanna Piña, Marco Antonio Martinez, Nathaniel Martinez, Miguel Angel (Sabrina) Peña, Jose C. Fuentes Tapia, and Cynthia Gabriela Tapia. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Idalia Martinez and Luis Ariel Peña.
A visitation will be held today, December 3, 2024, at Amistad Funeral Home in Del Rio, Texas, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place tomorrow, December 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
