Mark Caouette, Blairsville, GA— Mark Caouette passed away recently after battling serious health complications. Mark had been fighting through a series of surgeries and health issues throughout the year, spending much of the time in and out of the hospital. Just two weeks ago, the family learned that there was nothing more doctors could do, and Mark chose to return home on hospice care to spend his final days with his family and his two beloved dogs.
The community has shown an outpouring of support for Mark’s family, as they come to terms with the loss of their dear loved one. Alisha Clark, Mark’s daughter, shared on a fundraiser page, "It hurts to say that my sweet dad gained his wings last night and went to be with the Lord early this morning. It hurts a great deal but we know he’s all better up there playing a guitar and singing for a crowd."
Friends and family have expressed their condolences on social media, offering heartfelt words of sympathy. Raymond Caouette, Mark’s brother, posted, “I need prayers today my friends and lots of them. I lost both my mom and dad a few months ago and last night my baby brother Mark surrendered to his health issues and passed away.”
A fundraising effort has been launched by Alisha Clark to help the family with funeral expenses, as they were not prepared for the sudden loss. The community has come together with generous donations to help ease the financial burden. Kimberly May, Brian Palmer, and Gary Grabb have contributed to the cause, and the goal is to cover the funeral costs during this challenging time.
Mark was known for his love of music, and it brings comfort to his family to know that he is now in a better place, enjoying the music he loved.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mark’s family during this difficult time.
