Mark Shattuck, Captain Cook, HI— Mark Shattuck passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024, after a courageous battle with colon and liver cancer. He was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and a cherished member of his church and community. Mark’s vibrant spirit and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ touched many lives during his 22 years of service in the Navy as a CB and steelworker.
Linda Laws, Mark’s wife, has organized a fundraiser to bring Mark’s ashes home and hold a memorial service at Hope Diamond Ministries, where he was a frequent speaker. The goal is to raise $2,500, with $100 collected so far through generous donations from Valerie Gerry, Alan Barber, and Rose Glad.
Mark’s legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, especially his family and friends who continue to grieve his loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with Linda and the entire Shattuck family during this difficult time.
