Matteo was not only a cherished brother to Marco Nulli but also a beloved figure in the Marsciano community, known for his passion for volunteer work and photography.
As the anniversary of Matteo’s passing approaches, his brother Marco has organized a fundraiser to honor a promise left unfulfilled. In the days following Matteo’s passing, the family received an outpouring of support, with numerous donations that were directed towards purchasing equipment for the CORI center in Passignano sul Trasimeno and the health centers in Marsciano and Todi. However, due to the limited funds, the family was unable to fully realize their goal of donating equipment to the health centers in Marsciano and Todi.
Now, five years later, Marco has launched a new fundraiser on the GoFundMe platform, which began on August 26, 2024, the day marking Matteo’s tragic accident. The fundraiser aims to collect the remaining funds needed to donate equipment to these centers by Christmas. So far, €275 of the €2,500 goal has been raised, with contributions from five donors, including Elisabetta Lipparoni and Barbara Sebastiani.
Marco expressed his hope that this gesture would not only honor Matteo’s memory but also serve as a reflection on the dangers of the road, with plans for a commemorative ceremony in collaboration with the Marsciano administration.
