Maximilliano Toro, Cairnlea VIC— The community is mourning the loss of Maximilliano Toro, who tragically passed away on Sunday, July 28th. Max, a cherished partner, father, and friend, was driving home when he experienced a suspected cardiac arrest just around the corner from his house. Despite the swift response from police, ambulance, and fire brigade, who managed to restart his heart and rush him to Royal Melbourne Hospital, Max’s condition was critical. Doctors discovered a golf ball-sized brain bleed, and despite their best efforts, he was in an irreversible coma with no brain activity.
Max’s partner, Cecilia, and their three young children, Sofia, Evangelina, and Santiago, are left devastated by this sudden and heartbreaking loss. Max was known for his heart of gold and his unwavering love for his family and friends. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him, and his absence is deeply felt by all.
A fundraiser has been organized by Katie Bukovac to support Max’s family during this difficult time. The goal is to raise $10,000 AUD to help alleviate the financial burdens faced by Cecilia and the children. As of now, no donations have been made, but the community is encouraged to contribute, no matter how big or small, to help support Max’s family.
Max’s love and legacy will continue to guide his loved ones, and the beautiful memories he left behind will always be cherished. The community stands with Cecilia and the children, offering their thoughts, prayers, and support during this unimaginable time.
We are deeply saddened to learn of Maximilliano Toro’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
