Michael was born on January 18, 1974, and raised in Hanford, CA. He attended McClane High School and quickly went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1993 to 1996. His hobbies and passions included making weapons out of scraps in his free time and getting lost in the heat of battle with his favorite HeroClix teams.
Michael is survived by his father, also named Michael, and his four children: Mekayla, Phoenix, Sky, and Jasmine. He also leaves behind three stepchildren: Kristy, Brittney, and Tracy, and seven grandchildren: Adrian, Keiara, Zaylin, Lyra, Orion, Marious, and Iyana, with two more on the way. Michael loved all of his children and grandchildren deeply, and his loss will be profoundly felt by all who knew him.
His daughter, Jasmine Wheeler, has set up a fundraiser to cover the remaining funeral costs. Despite having raised half of the required amount, the family still needs support to reach their $5,000 goal. Jasmine shared her profound sadness and the impact her father’s passing has had on their family.
